About Nick Dickinson
Nick began his career at the tender age of six.

Struck by the magic of propagating plants, he quickly progressed through the stages of apprenticeship to qualify as a landscape technician at the age of 20.

He then spent the next two decades physically building every garden he designed. This is an invaluable process that all landscape designers should have experienced. The in-depth understanding of how gardens are constructed is a huge advantage when designing and specifying the finer details and makes all the difference in the world between an average and exceptional project.

Elementa garden design was borne out of this wealth of experience and nearly two thousand gardens later, Nick continues to surprise and delight clients with his creativity, extensive knowledge and natural ability.

Installation

Our trusted and experienced landscape contractors install your garden from start to completion. Nick will be on site regularly to oversee progress, budgets, specification and ensure that the all so important details discussed at the design stage are there in the finished scheme.

Design

Nick physically built his own designs for the first two decades which gives him an invaluable edge and understanding of the best materials, form, and function for your garden. The design phase is the heart and soul of our process.

Pricing

We have developed a very transparent method of charging for the installation, which allows you to buy the materials through us at trade price. Even the labour component is charged at cost. We then apply a percentage to these costs depending on the complexity of the project. You will see all the original invoices so you only pay for what the garden installation actually costs. This system is a huge benefit and is appreciated by all our clients.
